For every backup profile a menu entry is generated. When you click on the identifier of one profile in the pop-up menu one backup is made. This does not interfere with periodic creation of backups.
In the following screenshot you can see two possible one-time-backups. For example if the menu entry 'konserve' is selected, one backup of konserves source directory is made.
